Eco-friendly Energy Production
The plant will be designed to incinerate 1,300 tonnes of waste per day on average, which will result in 475,000 tonnes/year. Accounting for stops for periodic maintenance, the annual availability of the plant will be 7,800 hours (89%) which will generate 29.5 MW net and a sale of electricity of 230 GWh. This electricity will be integrated into the national grid, alleviating the strain on landfills, and boosting the country's power supply.
A typical Waste to Energy Plant. The plant aims to generate electricity, heat, and other forms of energy from waste using innovative technologies to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate climate change.
