Hanifa is a qualified environmental engineer with experience in EIAs and Audits for more than 10 years. She has led teams and executed works in housing developments, real estate, water supply, Argo-processing projects, irrigation schemes, telecommunication masts, quarries, waste management projects (Biomedical and municipal waste) and wastewater treatment projects among others. 

She holds Master of Science in Oil and Gas Engineering from University of Aberdeen UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering and Management degree attained from Kyambogo University. She is a member of the Uganda Association for Impact Assessment (UAIA) and a graduate member with Energy Institute and Society of Petroleum Engineers. She is certified by NEMA to carryout EIAs and Audits as a member of a study team. License No.: CC/EIA/102/13
